The Institute of Psychiatry is situated on the Denmark Hill campus, also home to the Maudsley and King’s College Hospitals and to facilities for the Dental Institute and School of Medicine.

The majority of the IoP's teaching, learning and social facilities and a number of departments (Biostatistics, Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Sciences, Neuroscience, Old Age Psychiatry, Psychological Medicine, Psychosis Studies) are located in the main building.
